ORGANIZATION

The Show is staged by the Atlantic Farm Mechanization Show Inc.
under the combined auspices of Atlantic Agricultural Engineers
and the Maritime Farm Equipment Dealers and Distributors. Wherever
mentioned in these Rules and Regulations, the Committee refers
to the Atlantic Farm Mechanization Show Inc. (Back

SCOPE

The Show is intended for the display of farm tractors, implements,
machinery, farmstead equipment, supplies, new technology, publications
and educational programs for agriculture. Goods may not be displayed
unless, in the view of the Committee, they comply with such descriptions.
SOLICITING,
SAMPLES & SOUVENIRS

Distribution of samples, souvenirs, promotional material permitted,
and soliciting of business must be confined to the exhibitor's
own space. Such activities are not permitted in the aisles, eating
areas, registration areas, hall ways or other exhibits. Exhibitors
wishing to enter another exhibitor's area may only do so if invited.
Any solicitation by non-exhibiting companies or individuals,
is not permitted for any reason, and if discovered, those at fault
will be escorted from the show.

STUDENTS

Exhibitors are requested not to issue invitation cards to schools,
universities, or other institutions. Students will only be admitted
if special arrangements have been made with Show Management.
ENTRY
TO SHOW

Show Management reserves the right to refuse admission to any
visitor, exhibitor or exhibitor's employees who, in the opinion
of Show Management, is unfit, intoxicated, or in any way creating
a disruption of the Show.
MOVE-OUT
PROCEDURE:

On
the final day of the show and no earlier than 4:30PM, no removal
or dismantling of exhibits, or exhibit material, is permitted.
Exhibitors are urged to remove small cartons and open cases of
products from the building immediately after the close of the
Show. While Show Management will take all reasonable security
precautions to safeguard small items, immediate removal of such
items will minimize the possibility of loss from pilferage. Trucks
will not be allowed into the building for more-out until one hour
after the show closes for this reason. All goods must be removed
by Sunday evening 5:00PM.

QUALIFICATIONS
OF APPLICANTS

The applicant shall be a manufacturer or distributor of goods
as described in the section “SCOPE” and any exceptions will be
dealt with at the discretion of the Committee. The Committee has
the right to decline any application without reason. The Committee
may request an applicant to furnish proof of his qualifications
or of his interests in the goods proposed to be exhibited.
SPACE
ALLOTMENT

All applicants for space are made and received subject to these
Rules and Regulations and they must be made upon proper forms
obtainable from the offices of the Committee.
The
applicant must include in the application, particulars of the
goods proposed to be exhibited, and the desired allotment of space.
Any requests for alterations or additions should, in general,
be made not later than 30 days before the show opens.
The
Committee reserves the right to limit space allocation, especially
if the Committee is not satisfied that the size or range of the
proposed exhibit warrants the allotment of the area applied for,
or possible duplication of the same product.
With
a view to the orderly arrangement of the Show, the right is reserved
also to define the areas within which allocations may be made
for the different classes of exhibits or exhibitors. (Back

ANNULMENT OF ALLOTMENT

The allocation made to the exhibitor shall be annulled, and the
space will be dealt with at the discretion of the Committee if
said exhibitor fails to pay the installments of space charged
by the due dates.
TRANSFER

Exhibitors may not sub-licence or transfer any part of the space
allotted to them. Exchanges of space may be made only with the
consent of the Committee. (Back

INFLAMMABLE
GOODS

Exhibits are subject to the requirements of the City of Moncton
Fire Prevention Office.
No Explosives or highly flammable substances may be exhibited.
No operation of internal combustion engines are permitted during
the Show.
All fuel tank covers must be sealed.
BY
LAWS

Exhibitors and the Exhibition generally are subject to the By-laws
and Rules and Regulations applying to the Exhibition premises.
Exhibitors are also subject to the Terms and Conditions of the
Committee’s agreement with the complex, particularly as it affects
catering, sound reproduction & safety.
WORKING
EXHIBITS

Working exhibits are acceptable but only electricity or compressed
air may be used for their mechanical operation. Horns, sirens,
or whistles may not be sounded.
Any machinery in motion must be well guarded to satisfy the Committee's
requirements. All belt and chain drive units must be covered.
All equipment where cutting of metal, wood or plastic is involved
must be provided with safety shields. Waste materials must be
disposed of in a safe manner.
SALES

Displays exhibited shall not be sold for delivery before the close
of the Show. (Back

NOTICE
OF EXHIBITS

Specification boards can be displayed in association with any
exhibit which announces all such details as are incorporated in
the exhibit.
“SOLD” notices and the like displayed on any Booth or exhibit
are not permitted.
PRICE
LIST, ETC.

Price list, advertisements, etc., may only be distributed from
exhibitors own booth and they must relate solely to exhibitors
own goods. (Back

STAND
ATTENDANTS

An exhibitor may not station any attendant upon any space other
than that allotted to him. Attendants may not promenade the Exhibition
premises for advertising purposes, and audible means may not be
employed to attract the attention of the public. (Back

TICKETS

The Committee will alone be responsible for the preparation and
distribution of tickets or invitations for the admission of the
general public, and exhibitors may not issue tickets or invitations
supporting or seeming to provide admission to such persons, other
than what the Committee Supplies.
COMPARISONS

Comparisons or comparative tests involving products of other manufacturers,
will not be permitted unless the manufacturer of the product concerned
shall have given his prior consent. (Back

OCCUPATION
OF BOOTH

The exhibitor must occupy the space allotted to him at least 24
hours before the Show opens, otherwise the Committee may deal
with such space at their discretion and require the forfeiture
of the space money already paid.
All exhibit materials must be in the Booth by 12:00 Noon on Wednesday.
All exhibits must be set up and ready by 6:00 PM
DELIVERY
AND REMOVAL OF EXHIBITS

The committee will determine and advise exhibitors of the dates
and times previous to the opening of the Show when exhibits and
other properties can be received at the complex. In cases where
early delivery of machinery is unavoidable and arrive a day or
two prior to move-in, they are to be left in the upper parking
lot and not on the unloading ramp.
Goods may not be delivered into or removed from the Exhibition
area during the hours of public admission.
Removal of goods from exhibits may commence one hour after the
official closing.
No vehicles will be allowed into the building until after all
aisle carpeting has been removed – approximately 1 hour after
show closing.
Exhibitor’s
properties must be removed from the premises not later than 5:00
PM the day following the show closing, unless other arrangements
have been made with the complex. (Back

EMPTY
CRATES AND PACKING

Empty crates may not be stored in booths. A designated area will
be set aside for crates and containers until move-out. Exhibitors
are requested to have proper identification labels on their crates
and containers for easy access after the show.
Any materials not removed from the storage area 24 hours after
the end of the Show will become the property of the Show and disposal
charges may be billed to the exhibitor. (Back

LOSS
OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

The Committee will not be responsible for loss or damage occurring
to any exhibit or any property of the exhibitors from any cause
whatsoever, and all articles placed in the complex premises shall
be at the Exhibitor's own risk. Please, see "Liability Insurance"
below.
Exhibitors may employ night watchmen, and the Show will provide
a team of security personnel to guard the Show overall, but cannot
provide complete security cover for each individual booth.
OTHER
DAMAGE

Exhibitors must make good at their own expense all damage done
by them or their employees whether to the complex premises or
to properties of the Coliseum-Agrena Complex. Please, see "Liability

ABANDONMENT

In the event of circumstances arising in the opinion of the Committee
make it necessary to abandon the Show prior to opening, the Committee
shall forthwith give notice of such abandonment to each exhibitor.
Any deposits or charges for space that have been received by the
Committee will be refunded. The Committee shall be under no liability
whatsoever to any Exhibitor in respect of any loss, damages or
expenses sustained or incurred by him in consequence of the abandonment
or closure of the Show.
LIABILITY
INSURANCE

Every exhibitor is required to constitute himself as a protector
of the grounds and property, and his own exhibits against fire,
and all other liabilities.
“Exhibitor
will be liable for and will indemnify and hold harmless as a result
of any loss or damages whatsoever occurring to or suffered by
any person or company, including, without limiting, the generality
of the foregoing, exhibitor, other exhibitors, management, the
owner of the building and their respective agents, servants and
employees and members of the public attending the show, either
on the said space or else where if said loss or damage arose from
or were in any way connected with the exhibitor’s occupancy of
the said space.”
“The
Exhibitor shall secure and furnish upon demand evidence of comprehensive
general liability insurance with a limit of not less than $1,000,000
inclusive, including coverage for premises and operations, products
and completed operations. The Exhibitor is responsible for the
cost and placement of all insurance related to any potential loss
or damage resulting from participating in the Show.”
“Exhibitors will be required to present proof of insurance”
Please check with your insurance agent as insurance companies
are reluctant to issue this type of coverage within 30 days of

INSTALLATION
AND DECORATING OF BOOTHS

All booths must be erected by and at the expense of the Exhibitor.
Exhibitors may erect their own exhibits using their own regular
employees. If the exhibitor requires additional assistance they
may wish to contact the show decorator who may or may not be able
to provide assistance. Other forms of manual labour may be hired
from Manpower Temporary Services by calling (506) 857-3088, Drake
Personnel at (506) 862-1808 or Kelly Services at (506) 383-2042.
The exhibitor shall conform to the requirements laid down by the
Committee. (Back

AUDIO-VISUAL

When any form of audio-visual is intended in the booth area of
exhibitors, screens must be placed so that they cannot be viewed
directly from the aisles and sound must be muted so that it does
not disturb adjacent booths. (Back

ELECTRICAL
WORK

One (1) electrical outlet (duplex 120 x 1500 watts) is provided
for each exhibit if requested on electrical form.
City of Moncton electricians will be obtained by the Committee
to install electrical outlets in addition to the standard 120
volt mentioned above.
Any additional power requirements must be stated on the additional
electrical requirement form to be forwarded with your confirmation
of space. All costs for installations will be the responsibility
of the Exhibitor.
BOOTH
LIMITATIONS

All booth decorations and enclosures will be open type and no
booth shall block the general visibility of another. (Back

BOOTH
CARPETING

All exhibitors are responsible for carpeting area within booths.
Exhibitors are permitted to provide their own carpeting if not
renting from the Show Decorator; however, Show Management requires
that carpets be full size of booth floorspace and must be taped
with either double sided carpet tape or duct tape. If these standards
are not met, Show Management will ask you to change your carpet
to meet specifications.
OPEN
SPACE AREAS

Full back walls or dividers between exhibits will not be allowed
over 3'10" high in any open space areas. 8' drapes may only cover
1/2 the length or width of the booth so that complete blocking
does not occur. Show management does not supply drape for open
areas. (See Show Decorator order forms)
For
display purposes, free-standinq bulletin boards, signs, etc.,
can be used provided neighboring exhibitors are not hidden from
view. Unfinished sides or backgrounds must be draped. Racks and
display shelves must not obstruct visibility of adjacent exhibits.
CARE
OF BUILDINGS – FLOORS, WALLS, CEILINGS

Painting, nailing or drilling of floors, walls, ceilings, or any
part of the building is not permitted. Exhibitors laying any floor
covering must use an adhesive that will not damage the floor and
is easily removed. No signs or other articles are to be fastened
to ceiling, walls, pipes or electrical fixtures. Ice Surface exhibitors
are not permitted to tape signs on the glass surrounding the ice
surface. Hanging signs are permitted, however all signs must be
hung by the building contractor at a cost to the exhibitor.
No
balloons or stick-on decals, or the like, will be permitted to
be sold or given away by exhibitors. (Back
